i hope you enjoyed the gift-giving and christmas cheer. i love this time of year. you have no choice but to huddle together and reflect on the warmer months! i’m just hoping it snows before spring…

i hope you liked your gifts! the ring is something i found on ebay with raw sapphire (your birthstone) and pearls. i think it’s gorgeous. i also got you a pair of loop earplugs for concerts! chanel beads, anyone??

i have been adding (and will likely continue to add) to this page, your page, here and there leading up to christmas. i like to think this contains the same essence as the journal i gave you before your summer camp job; a sort of asynchronous conversation, ready to be picked up wherever, whenever.

here are a couple links to keep you busy: i was telling you about this recently. there are a couple more that i can show you. we would get all the kids in the neighborhood in my basement and take turns recording lines. at this point, i can barely remember who’s who– especially with our prepubescent voices, we all sound the same!

here’s to a wonderful new year! i hope 2025 is full of pleasant surprises– as well as pleasant non-surprises. this will be your first year out of school in a long ass time, huh? we should take advantage of that and go traveling! i have been feeling very cooped up lately, and there is so much to see, both here and abroad.
